Hydrogen can be produced by various methods and production through ammonia cracking is one of them. Where nitrogen is not an impurity, where hydrogen is to be used as a reducing atmosphere and where ammonia can be used as a raw material- there we offer a hydrogen plant based on ammonia cracking.

Ammonia is cracked in presence of nickel catalyst at approximately 850°C and we get a mixture of hydrogen and nitrogen in the same ratios as these constituents are present in ammonia that is :-

H2 – 75%, and
N2– 25%

Product of NH3 cracking in this ratios can be used for the following purposes

  • Heat treatment in various industries.
  • For providing reduction and reducing atmosphere in bulk drug manufacture.
  • Sintered, bimetal, metal powder products and stainless steel wire annealing.
  • Continuous galvanizing lines.
  • Brazing furnaces.
  • Hydrogenation of castor oil and non edible oil.

  • Available in capacities from 5 Nm3 to 200 Nm3/hr.
