GASLAB supports various social causes and one of them is education. Mukherjee Memorial School Shahdara Society is registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. It aims of spreading education based on values and character building focused on India’s cultural heritage. Dr. Shyam Sunder Aggarwal, the President of the Society has a vision for developing children into healthy educated youth who are dedicated to serve the country in different capacity.

GASLAB supports the Society working towards education of poor children specially the girl child. The science labs SS GASLABs supports them in mentoring science projects and making these children aware about environmental issues. These schools have installed rainwater harvesting system, power generation through solar cells, reusing waste paper to make kraft paper and has developed good horticulture. GASLAB i s in the process of setting up a small biogas generation plant using fermentable waste from the school and from the nearby areas. Many skilled development programs are run by GASLAB in the schools to help children to find a way of making a honourable living after completing school if they wish not to pursue higher studies.
