Key Responsibilities

• Develops the Proposal Plan and reviews the Enquiry Summary
• Discussions and goal setting based on the inputs received from Marketing and Management
• Organizes and holds the bid kick-off meeting
• Analyses RFQ requirements and conditions
• Approves the scope of work of each party involved in the bid
• Allocation of work with time frame to meet the overall deadline
• Identifies the pre-bid agreements to be completed, if necessary
• Coordinates with vendors for timely receipt of offers
• Creates a comparison sheet for the offers received
• Prepares the bidding documents
• Estimation of cost based on the evaluations made by the other technical departments (engineering, procurement, process, I&C, Quality, etc.)
• Submits the proposal for further submission
• Updating Proposal MIS daily
• Data management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/chemical engineering or a closely related field
• 2+ years of experience in procurement of bulk mechanicals, preferably within the EPC, manufacturing, or similar industries
• Self-starter
• Ability to deliver compliant, professionally produced proposals within deadline
• Strong time management skills
• Coordinate and edit proposal input from a variety of sources
• Strong written English language skills
• Able to communicate at a senior level
• Document template management

Engineer procurement of bulk mechanical components – steel sheets, castings, forgings, structural steel, pipes, and pipe fittings – for GAS LAB Asia's EPC projects. Leveraging your strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles that meet rigorous quality standards, are delivered on time, and align with GAS LAB Asia's uncompromising commitment to quality, health, safety, and environment (QHSE).

Location: H.O based in sector 135 Noida.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• 3+ years of experience in procurement of bulk mechanicals, preferably within the EPC, manufacturing, or similar industries.
• In-depth knowledge of materials (steel grades, fabrication processes), piping systems, and relevant engineering codes and standards.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and supply chain dynamics.
• Familiarity with quality assurance principles (e.g., ISO 9001) and a commitment to QHSE.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

A. Inward and outward payments:

• Prepare documents for inward payment against export or services through bank.
• Prepare documents for outward payments against services, agency agreements, advertising contracts, etc.
• Conversions and FC rates tracking.
• Uploading vendor and other online payments on the bank's CMS portal.
• Submission of E-BRC papers to the bank.
• Maintaining and updating all FDRs with the bank (in XL Tracker).

B. LC/SBLC related work:

• Checking of Export LC terms
• Preparing the Export documents and submission of LC negotiation documents in bank

C. BG Related work:

• Preparing documents for new BG issuance to the client and respective renewals from time to time as per the contractual terms.
• Maintaining/tracking chart for all the BGs issued by vendors for different projects and release or extension of BG in coordination with procurement & project departments.
• Keeping all BG updates issued for Client/Vendor in the XL Tracker.
• Checking BG commission debits by the bank and negotiating foreign bank charges.

D. Insurance, Renewals & others:

• Monthly declaration and submission of related forms & follow compliances related to ECGC & EEPC.
• Membership renewals for EEPC, ECGC, FIEO, PHD & EOUs, etc.
• General Insurance - Fire, Thefts, Accidents, and Site-related policies (e.g., CGL, etc.).
• Renewal for digital signatures for the Directors - Class II & Class III (renewal chart to be maintained in XL).
• Renewal/updation of IEC code on the DGFT portal (every year) - XL tracker to be maintained.
• Maintaining project-wise data related to invoicing & payments from clients.

All files corresponding/related to the above work to be maintained and kept updated at all times with indexing To maintain / set reminders on Google Calender for pending / due task for timely completion / submission Any other work/assignment, the management may decide to give

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related) or Project Management.
• 0-2 years of experience in project controls or a related field. Internship experience in EPC is a significant advantage.
• Understanding of project planning, scheduling principles, and progress tracking methodologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a strong willingness to learn specialized project management software.
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.

Education:

Technical Skills:
